A new traffic light has gone up at a busy Myrtle Beach intersection.
The light at Oak Forest Lane and Seaboard Street has been on the drawing board for a couple of years. City officials say the light should cut down the number of accidents at that corner.
To give drivers some time to get used to it, the light will flash yellow or red for the next week, depending on which direction you're coming from.
The light and new turn lanes cost $500,000 to install.
