(AP) -- Experts from two states are gathering to discuss the impact of drilling for oil off the coast of the Carolinas.
The annual economic growth summit at Coastal Carolina University on Friday focuses on both the positives and the negatives of offshore drilling.
The summit features experts from North Carolina and South Carolina and is sponsored by the university's Wall College of
Business Administration and the Cameron School of Business at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.
Topics include everything from how the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico affected tourism on South Carolina's Grand Strand to the ecological effects of an oil spill off the Carolinas coast.
