A one-year-old boy from Loris was killed in a two-car crash Tuesday afternoon.
South Carolina Highway Patrol says the boy was riding in a car that crossed into the path of another car and overturned on SC Highway 9 about 3 miles east of Loris. The accident happened around 4:15 p.m. Tuesday.
Highway Patrol says the driver, Altina Jenkin, 25, of Loris, was transported to Loris Hospital.
No charges have been filed. The Multi-disciplinary Accident Investigation Team is investigating the accident.
