City spokesperson Nicole Aiello says police charged Frenchman D. Collins, 36, with armed robbery and possession of a deadly weapon.
Police say he robbed the Kangaroo store at 1350 Highway 17 South on July 26th.
A judge set Collins' bond at $50,000 and he is currently housed at the J. Rueben Long Detention Center in Conway.
The Myrtle Beach Police Department helped the North Myrtle Beach Department of Public Safety with this case.
