Monday night, NewsChannel 15 started Hurricane Week, taking information about the powerful storms to the community.
At the first town hall meeting in Carolina Forest residents learned about preparing for hurricanes from NewsChannel 15's Chief Meteorologist Ed Piotrowski and Horry County Emergency Preparedness Director Randy Webster.
They talked about what you need to know for before, during, and after a storm.
