GREENVILLE, S.C. (AP) -- U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina says those who turned over classified war documents to the WikiLeaks website must be found and prosecuted.

Graham told The Greenville News for a story Monday that the release of more than 90,000 documents written between 2004 and 2009 has undermined the war effort and endangered lives.

He says he expects people will be killed because of the release of the documents.

Graham says prosecuting those who leaked the documents would give people confidence they can help the U.S. war effort without worrying their names will be released.

He says those in the military should be court-martialed and civilians should be prosecuted in U.S. courts.
