Flags to fly half-staff Monday for fallen soldier

Flags around South Carolina may be flying at half-staff on Monday in honor of a South Carolina serviceman killed in Afghanistan.

Sgt. 1st Class John Jarrell of Brunson, SC, died July 15 in Kandahar, Afghanistan.

Brunson's unit, based out of Kentucky, was struck by an improvised explosive device.

Brunson, 32, will be buried at a national cemetery in Kentucky.
