Horry County Fire Rescue says two local women died in a head-on two car collision in Horry County this afternoon.
It happened about 5pm on Red Bluff Road between Highway 90 and Highway 905.
Ealer Mae Butler Watson, 78, and Jaquinta Tashara Brown, 20, both of Loris died at the scene, according to Horry County Coroner Robert Edge.
According to crews on the scene, the two women were the drivers of the cars and were the only people in the cars.
