A Marion baseball coach has been found not guilty of assaulting a student.

In January of 2009, Marion Police issued a courtesy summons to Donald Cribb for simple assault and battery against a student.

Police say the student's mother signed a warrant against Cribb.

Court officials tell us after a six hour trial Friday, the jury found Cribb not guilty.

According to the Marion District One's website, Cribb teaches driver's education and is the head baseball coach.
