A special attraction has come to Myrtle Beach.

The Weeki Wachee Mermaids are performing at Ripley's Aquarium.

They've come from Weeki Wachee Springs State Park in Florida to swim among the sharks and sting rays.

You can see they draw quite a crowd to the aquarium.

"My favorite about the job, the thing that thrills me the most, is seeing the little girls and their reactions to mermaids. You know, their belief in the mermaid and they actually just want to touch your tail and they just want you to look at them. You can just look at them in their eyes and know you've made their year," Mermaid Shannon Tooker tells NewsChannel 15.

The mermaids perform multiple times a day and the show is free with regular admission.

You can even meet the mermaids between shows. They'll be at Ripley's Aquarium through Sunday.
