NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) -- A popular boat landing on the South Carolina coast is being rededicated.
The landing known as the County Farm Boat Landing in North Charleston is being rededicated on Thursday in honor of longtime Charleston County Treasurer W.O. Thomas.
Thomas served as county treasurer for 28 years from 1968 to 1996. He died earlier this year.
The landing is located just off Interstate 526 in North Charleston.
