Two Florence students are at the top of their class. They're the top high jumpers in the state and they're on their way to competing in the U.S Junior Olympics.
NewsChannel 15 caught up with 9-year-old Noah Durant and 11-year-old Kadasia Evans as they practiced at West Florence High School.
Noah placed first and Kadasia placed second in the Southeast Regionals.
They now move on to the U.S. Junior Olympics competition, which takes place at San Diego State University in California and, they're excited about the trip.
"I feel good cause now I'm going to California and I made it," Kadasia Evans, High-Jumper, said.
"I feel great, really great. I'm happy that I'm going and I'm just excited," Noah Durant, High-Jumper, said.
They head for California next week.
