Horry County made an offer for it's Airports Director position.
The County Administrator contacted Michael La Pier. La Pier is the chief operating officer for the Sacramento County airport system in California.
The county isn't releasing any details yet as far as salary or starting date.
They hope to let us know by the beginning of next week.
One of the tasks of the new Airports Director will be overseeing the expansion of Myrtle Beach International.
