Dangerously hot and humid conditions can be expected today with high temperatures hitting the low 90s along the Grand Strand and mid 90s Inland. Heat Index values will top out around or over 105° for several hours during the afternoon. Take necessary precautions to stay cool and keep well hydrated. We'll watch for partly sunny skies and a few widely scattered afternoon storms.
One or two storms may linger into the evening, otherwise partly cloudy skies can be expected overnight. Low temperatures will hit the mid and upper 70s.
Thursday will see dangerously hot and humid conditions with the highs back in the 90s and heat index values up over 105 once again. Partly sunny skies remain around with a few afternoon storms possible.
