CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) -- South Carolina's top federal prosecutor is thanking several of the state's law enforcement agencies that helped federal agents in a big drug case.

U.S. Attorney Bill Nettles is in Charleston on Tuesday to thank members of sheriff's departments in Charleston and Dorchester counties, as well as police in North Charleston and Summerville.

Nettles is also recognizing the South Carolina Highway Patrol and the Drug Enforcement Association.

Nettles says all of those agencies helped out in a drug investigation that resulted in the seizure of more than $1 million in drug proceeds.
