The North Myrtle Beach Chamber of Commerce Convention & Visitors Bureau launched a new web site Wednesday.
The new site has separate pages for members and visitors.
Members will be able to log in and change their contact information, link to other sites like Facebook and Twitter and pay for classes.
The chamber hopes the new site also makes it easier for potential visitors to find the information they need. "If you really want people to find information about your community, you've got to make it very easy for them so the hope is that the people, when they come to our site, they won't get frustrated and say 'Oh, forget it, I'll go look at another site.' Because if they look at another site, they're probably looking at another destination," said Chamber President/CEO Marc Jordan.
Some of the features include a live look at the Cherry Grove Pier, sending e-postcards to friends and entering vacation photos in a photo contest.
Accrinet designed the new site.
