If you're looking for a unique way to celebrate Independence Day, you can hop in a golf cart and head to Garden City.

For more than 25 years, Garden City has held a 4th of July Golf Cart Parade, where a few hundred golf carts typically turn out.

Folks are encouraged to watch or participate. The parade begins lining up at 1:00 p.m. behind Willard's Fireworks on Calhoun Drive in Garden City.

Things are expected to get moving at 2:00 p.m. The parade route ends on Woodlawn Drive.

All donations collected throughout the day benefit the Garden City and Murrells Inlet Fire Departments.
