The Darlington County Sheriff's Office says Robert Wayne King, 38, of Hartsville, stabbed a man at a home on New Market Road in Hartsville just after midnight Friday morning.
The sheriff's office says the victim is at a hospital being treated for his stab wounds. His condition has not been released.
Deputies say King ran through the woods near the home and a manhunt began. After several hours, King was taken into custody in the New Market Road area.
King is in the Darlington County Detention Center awaiting a bond hearing on two charges of attempted murder and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime.
