CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) -- A second South Carolina man has been arrested in the shooting death of a man at a nightclub last month.
The Post and Courier of Charleston reported Friday that 28-year-old Arthur Lee Moultrie of Hollywood has been arrested and charged with murder in the shooting 29-year-old Kavares Brown on Edisto Island.
A witness told investigators that Brown and others were standing in front the club June 18 when a car pulled up and several people got out with guns, ordering no one to move.
The witness said the crowd began to run and shots were fired, striking Brown.
It was unclear if Moultrie had an attorney. He was being held in the Charleston County jail.
Kendrell Jerome Brown of Jacksonboro was arrested earlier and also is charged with murder.
