Darlington received a grant to help those who have damage to their home from the tornado in April.

The twister caused $7.6 million in damage to 79 homes, businesses, and buildings.

Some of those affected have applied for loans from the Small Business Administration.

Darlington received a $3,500 grant from the Eastern Carolina Community Foundation to help with roof repairs on some of the damaged homes.
