Dillon County police have arrested a man in connection with a deadly shooting over the weekend.

Police have charged Jonta Alford, 21, with the murder of Greg Bethay.

Reports show the incident happened on Lincoln Street off Highway 57.

Alford is expected to be arraigned later this week.
