(AP) -- West Virginia is hosting the Southern Regional Education Board's annual meeting next week.
Legislators from the board's 16 member states and state and national education leaders will meet in White Sulphur Springs from Sunday through Tuesday.
Issues to be discussed include raising high school and college graduation grates and the region's progress in public education.
The board's member states are Alabama, Arkansas, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia and West Virginia.
