A Rochester, New York teenager who disappeared while on spring break in Myrtle Beach last year would have graduated from high school Wednesday night.

As seniors at Gates-Chili High School arrived for the ceremony, there was one senior missing.

Brittanee Drexel was last seen on Ocean Boulevard in Myrtle Beach last April.

Her parents were at graduation and were given an honorary diploma for Brittanee.

"It's difficult because she's not here. She's not crossing that stage, and I know a lot of her friends that are graduating

today are thinking about her," said Brittanee's mother Dawn Drexel.

Her parents also received a copy of the yearbook, which included her senior picture and two pages dedicated to Brittanee.

Anyone with information concerning the disappearance of Brittanee Drexel is asked to call Myrtle Beach Police or the Georgetown County Sheriff's Office.
