Someone spray painted the words "you lie" on Congressman Joe Wilson's campaign headquarters in Columbia.
Campaign workers spent part of Thursday scrubbing those words away.
The two words are a reference to Wilson's outburst during a speech by President Barack Obama.
According to the campaign, it's happened before.
Brian Deroy, Wilson's communications director said, "The Congressman had the largest amount of votes for anyone ever running in the Republican Congressional primary, and his opponents obviously are frustrated and they choose to lash out in this way."
West Columbia police are investigating the incident.
