Wednesday afternoon, police found a body near a dumpster behind a restaurant.
Florence Police Major Carlos Raines says some workers found the body of a man behind the old Burger King on West Evans Street.
Raines says at this point, they don't suspect any criminal involvement in the man's death, but his body is being sent off for an autopsy just to be sure.
We're told Florence County Coroner Bubba Matthews knows the man's identity, but first must notify the man's family before he releases it to us.
