MIRAMAR, FLA. (AP) -- Spirit Airlines says it will resume flights on Friday. The union says the airline has made a deal with the pilots that will end their five-day-old walkout.
The Air Line Pilots Association says the pilots are working out a back-to-work agreement and technically remain on strike until that's done.

Spirit Airlines makes a deal to end pilot strike
The union for striking pilots at Spirit Airlines says it has reached a tentative agreement with the airline.
Andy Nelson, the vice chairman of the pilot's union, says it is still working out the details of when pilots will return to flying.
But he says they're aiming to do it as soon as possible.
Spirit has been grounded since pilots walked out on Saturday in a pay dispute.
