A community in our area is in the running for a $50,000 Pepsi Refresh Grant to build a playground for special needs children.

The playground would be built near Blenheim Elementary Middle School as part of a recreation complex.

Pepsi Refresh awards grants every month to worthy projects.

The town of Blenheim is partnering with the Marlboro County School District in the project.

Online voting will determine whether the community will get the playground.
