The founder of the consumer watch dog and civil rights group Action 7 has been arrested by the Florence County Sheriff's Office.

Raymond Johnson, founder of Action 7, was arrested Friday evening on a family court bench warrant out of Horry County.

We are still waiting to learn the details of the specific charges against him.

Johnson is being held at the Florence County Detention Center.

A few years ago, he founded Action 7 to help those who he says are mistreated.

Officials at the jail tell us Horry County authorities will pick up Johnson on Monday and take him to Conway where he will face a family court judge to answer the charges against him.
