Bond has been denied again for a Florence County man accused of killing a Florence City police officer.
Police say in February, Brady Johnson shot and killed Officer Matthew Clayton at Clayton's Florence home. Johnson is charged in state court with voluntary manslaughter.
He also faces federal gun charges.
Last month, Florence County Solicitor Ed Clements asked that Johnson's case be prosecuted by the Horry County Solicitor's Office.
Clements said, "Officer Matthew Clayton is one of ours, and the case is too close to home for this office to be objective."
