A Conway dog groomer and her purple pooch will appear on national TV this month.

Adriane Pope is among 15 groomers who will appear on the TLC show, Extreme Poodles, which will air June 13th. She says taping the show, which is about a poodle-grooming competition, was an experience she'll never forget.

Adriane worked hard to get her dog ready for his TV debut, and he loved it. "He was completely purple, he had pink, he had yellow, he had black and he's a multi-colored dog, he's a standard poodle and he loved the cameras. If the camera was in his face, he was happy."

Adriane used her favorite movie "Pretty Woman" as the theme for her presentation. She re-wrote the words to the song, to make it into "Pretty Poodle" and sang it for the producers.

Most of the other competitors were from California.

Adriane was the only East Coast groomer.
