SUMTER, S.C. (AP) -- About 300 airmen at Shaw Air Force Base in Sumter got the perfect Memorial Day gift, returning to the South Carolina base to see family members.

Multiple media outlets reported the members of the 77th Fighter Squadron returned to the base Monday after more than four months in Iraq.

Twenty-two-year-old senior airman Justin Clayton was happy to get home and hold is 4-month-old daughter, Morgan, for the first time. She was born two days after he left the country, but he did get to see the birth using a Web camera.

Clayton says the return home is the greatest feeling in the world.
