The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division is investigating a threat against State Attorney General Henry McMaster.

They say someone dropped a threatening note in the deposit box of a North Charleston bank last week.

McMaster, who is also running for governor, threw out the first pitch at the Myrtle Beach Pelicans game Friday night.

He says threats against him are nothing new.

McMaster said, "As a chief prosecutor for the state, this is just part of the job. But law enforcement and SLED are handling it, and I feel fine."

SLED is providing increased security for the attorney general.
