Two Horry County high school students who were charged in connection with an alleged threatening letter found in a school last month no longer face charges.

Tyler Bullock, 18, and John Hanna, 17, were charged with disturbing schools after an incident at St James High in April.

According to Horry County court website records, all charges against the two students have been dismissed.

Authorities say a note was exchanged between the students and contained anthrax-related threats. A search of the school determined there was no threat.

The students were recommended for expulsion, but no word on whether the school district will pursue that.
