Bennettsville Police charged Robert Hammonds, Junior with misprison of a felony in connection with the killing of Samer Hussein, 44.

Two weeks ago, Hussein was shot to death during a robbery at the Quick Stop on Marshall Street in Bennettsville.

Hussein was part owner of the small grocery store. Police charged Rashawn Baskins, 17, Marcus Townsend, 17, and Kadeem Ocean, 20, each with murder and kidnapping.

A 15-year-old faces the same charges.

Investigator Ira Dease with the Bennettsville Police Department tells NewsChannel 15 Hammonds saw the suspects making preparations to hold up the business, but failed to call 911.

Hammonds has been released from jail on $10,000 bond.

It's expected the other four suspects will be charged with conspiracy in connection with this crime.

They're expected in court Tuesday afternoon for a bond hearing.
