Construction has resumed on the Pine Needles road widening project in Florence County.
In February, South Carolina Department of Transportation officials halted construction after the primary contractor filed for bankruptcy.
Construction on the bridge never stopped.
DOT officials tell us they still expect to have the project finished by next fall.
