(AP) -- McColl Police say Saturday night, a woman was shot in her home on Gibson Avenue. She is in stable condition at Scotland Memorial Hospital in Laurinburg.
Police say she heard a knock at her door, answered it and found a masked man holding several guns on her doorstep.
The man walked in and told her to "give everything up." She told police she didn't know what he was talking about, so the man fired several shots, one hitting her in the chest.
She said the man then ran off.
