(AP) -- CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) - The South Carolina Maritime Foundation says there will be no Charleston Harbor Festival this year.

They couldn't get enough tall ships for next month's event.

The Post and Courier of Charleston reported that officials promise next year's event will be a big one. Foundation chief executive Will Haynie says a change in

leadership reduced planning time this year.

Haynie says the foundation couldn't even get a commitment from its own ship, the Spirit of South Carolina. It already was booked elsewhere.

The Harbor Festival has drawn about 80,000 visitors in recent years.

Haynie says next year's festival may include an air show, in addition to the tall ships.
