Florence Darlington Technical College was one of 59 schools awarded a grant by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission.
The NRC will give the school $150,000 to boost nuclear education and to expand the work force in nuclear safety and related fields.
Recipients were chosen from 29 states and Puerto Rico.
