Socastee High School will host a festival and yard-sale to raise funds for the Haitian St. Sacrament School in Fond Parisien, Haiti.

All funds raised at the event on May 15th, 2010 will be used to sponsor teachers currently working without a salary.

The fundraising effort between Socastee High School and the Christian Haitian American Partnership hopes to provide a yearly salary for as many teachers at the school as possible.

The yard-sale will be in the front parking lot of Socastee High School from 7 am to 12 pm. The festival will take place in the front courtyard of SHS from 9 am to 1pm.

Several clubs will be represented through a variety of booths and attractions that include face paining, hair braiding, balloon art and a cake walk.
