WWII Vets and ex-POW's honored on Grand Strand

Several Prisoners of War from World War II held their last reunion in Myrtle Beach Saturday.

The group of POWs from Stalag 17 got together at the Hall of Heros located at the Ocean Dunes Resort in Myrtle Beach.

The event was put on by the local chapter of Rolling Thunder a group dedicated to keeping the POW issue relevant in Congress as well as honoring and assisting military families.

At Saturdays event, many of the veterans were recognized and honored with medals from Rolling Thunder.
