Judge Michael Nettles denied a request from Donovan Roman to reconsider Roman's life sentence for murder.
Two weeks ago, Donovan Roman, 20, pleaded guilty to killing Jeremiah Jenkins, 17.
In August of 2008, Roman killed Jenkins inside a old warehouse in Florence to fulfill his fantasies of being a gangster. Police found Jenkins' body stuffed in a wall 24 days later.
