Students at Coastal Carolina University have come up with ideas for re-developing Fantasy Harbour, the site of Freestyle Music Park.

Six groups of students in CCU's Resort Tourism Class were assigned to come up with hypothetical projects that would make the best use of the property for the developer and the community.

Their goal was to increase the use of Fantasy Harbour during the shoulder and winter tourism seasons. Their instructor says they came up with some interesting designs. "The ideas range from arenas to wave parks and water parks to museums and educational facilities, just a variety of different things," said Taylor Damonte, a resort tourism professor.

Damonte says the Fantasy Harbour site is a good challenge for students because it's gone through many changes and has a lot of potential.

The students have been working on the project since January.
