Seven people were arrested in the Pee Dee after a seven month long drug investigation. The suspects and their charges are listed below.
The Florence County Sheriff's Office investigation focused on the Timmonsville area of Florence County. Authorities say most of the drugs the suspects were dealing was crack cocaine.
Deputies say the investigation is ongoing in the Timmonsville area and other parts of the county, and additional arrests are likely.
"Illegal drugs are poisoning our children and are a scourge on the communities. They bring nothing but violence and heartache," Sheriff Kenney Boone stated. "If you choose to sell drugs, we will do our best to put you in jail."
Donnell Lamont Durant, 31, of Timmonsville is charged with Distribution of Crack Cocaine, Second Offense.
Roderique Antonio James, 27, of Olanta is charged with two counts of Distribution of Crack Cocaine.
Kenyatta D. Fulwood, 37, of Timmonsville is charged with Distribution of Crack Cocaine.
Connie R. Fulwood, 34, of Timmonsville is charged with Manufacturing and Distribution of Crack Cocaine.
Christopher Leggette, 23, of Timmonsville is charged with Distribution of Crack Cocaine.
Trumaal Abdul Brown, 18, of Timmonsville is charged with Distribution of Crack Cocaine.
Shawn D. Brown, 38, of Timmonsville is charged with Distribution of Crack Cocaine.
