The annual Taste of Darlington attracted hundreds of people to the Darlington Raceway Thursday night.

Organizers say nearly 500 people filled the Sprint Cup garage at the Track too Tough to Tame.

Dozens of amateur chefs served some tasty cuisine, including Darlington County Sheriff Wayne Byrd. His specialty was marinated and fried frog legs.

The annual event is sponsored by the Darlington Downtown Revitalization Association and is one of the group's primary fundraisers.
