Police: Reports of Darlington school shootings are false

Darlington Police received false reports of shootings at several Darlington Schools Thursday morning.

Darlington School District Spokesperson Audrey Childers told NewsChannel 15 someone called 911 and said there were shootings at three different schools.

Childers confirmed that the claim was false.

Police are working with 911 dispatchers to track down the person responsible for making the call.
