The city of Myrtle Beach started installing a traffic light at a busy intersection.
The light is going in at the corner of Seaboard Street and Oak Forest Lane.
The half a million dollar project will include median relocations, new turn lanes and installation of footings and mast arms.
Most of the work will be done at night, and some lane closures may be required.
The work is scheduled to be complete by late June.
