SUMTER, S.C. (AP) -- Police have arrested two men and are seeking a third in a shooting at a South Carolina hotel that killed one man and injured his brother.
Sumter police said on Friday that Elliott Jermaine Porcher and William Jene Jenkins Jr. have been charged with murder and assault and battery with intent to kill.
Police say Porcher and Jenkins shot and killed 29-year-old Lake Trent Vaughn on Tuesday night around 10:30 at a Holiday Inn Express in Sumter. Vaughn's brother, 23-year-old Howard Quantell Logan, was also shot and was listed in critical condition Friday.
Sumter police say they are looking for 21-year-old Marvin Dewane Dennis on a murder charge. Two women have also been charged with accessory to murder.
