Tuesday there will be a celebration at Myrtle Beach International Airport to mark the beginning of non-stop service between Dallas and Myrtle Beach.
The new seasonal jet service from American Eagle Airlines begins Tuesday and runs through October 31.
The president of the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce, Brad Dean, says the new flights will open Myrtle Beach to a new group of tourists who may not have considered the Grand Strand in the past.
