(AP) -- A teacher at a South Carolina school has been arrested and accused of having sex with a 15-year-old female student.
Multiple media outlets reported 38-year-old James Christopher Taylor of Calhoun Falls is charged with criminal sexual conduct with a minor and performing a lewd act on a minor.
The State Law Enforcement Division says Taylor is accused of having sex with the student in a wooded area near Calhoun Falls Charter School on March 20. Taylor taught business and computer skills at the school and is on administrative leave.
SLED says a relative of the girl found communications between Taylor and the girl and notified the Calhoun Falls Police Department.
Taylor was being held in the Abbeville County jail. It was unclear if he had a lawyer.
