A man from Taylors, SC, kicked two of his family members out of his van Friday night and then stabbed one of them multiple times, police said this weekend.
Donald J. Taylor, 44, stabbed the family member in the chest, shoulder and hand. Police weren't able to determine the men's relation, but detectives were told they were either cousins or an uncle and nephew combo.
The victim was taken to an area hospital and was listed in stable condition.
The stabbing happened at the corner of 21st Avenue South and Yaupon Drive in Myrtle Beach sometime before midnight Friday.
Georgetown County deputies arrested Taylor Saturday when he showed up to an impound lot to retrieve his van -- which had been abandoned somewhere in Georgetown County.
Taylor was transferred to the Myrtle Beach jail, and detectives planned to charge him Sunday evening with assault and battery with intent to kill.
He's scheduled to have a bond hearing Monday morning.
